The King Can Marry a Catholic

Finally, the British have lifted the ban on persons in line for the throne marrying Catholics

The ban on the monarch being married to a Roman Catholic was also lifted.

Hooray for religious freedom!

However, the monarch himself can’t be Catholic. I suppose that’s a symptom of being head of the Church of England.
